After spending the last few Christmas's purchasing everything from gifts to cards, I really want to make the greatest effort to make this Christmas, a hand-made Christmas. So, starting off, I made a few cards using the Pink Paislee Father Christmas 'Cards' page.
Love the colors and patterns in this collection but noticed that in the 12 cards, Santa never carries a Canadian flag! Had all intentions of substituting a hand-made Canadian flag but then opted to just omit those cards :)
I even created my own ribbons! Pretty sure it's been done before but I was frustrated by having a ton of ribbon to choose from yet none co-ordinated well enough with the project at hand. So I took a package of cheese cloth, cut it into 2 in. strips and glimmer misted the strips in my favorite mist colors. Now I have an assortment and know how to find a match :)
Thanks for stopping by!
I love your style Rosa! Amazing how you made these cards into pocket cards, what a great idea. I know I wouldn't have come up with that. I love the glimmer misted cheese cloth! love it - nope I haven't seen it done before ... very original!

Such gorgeous Christmas cards Rosa! I love your idea to glimmer mist your own ribbons! I've done that with lace but can't seem to get an even colour for some reason, I'm going to try the cheese cloth and see if I have any better luck. Thanks for the great idea!
