It's been a long time since I made invites for the kid's birthday parties but I was determined to do something 'different' this year for my daughter's birthday party invites. Although I have owned the 'beast' or 'pro' for a while now, I haven't really used it other than to find a home for it (it's seriously huge and you need about 2 feet of clearance on either side!!!)
So this year, my daughter is having her party is hosting a cooking party at the Superstore and of course, we were issued the standard, pre-made, less than photocopy weight invites.
Together, we choose this die:
and created 'envelopes' to enclose the invites! I didn't realize just how easy these dies are to work with and with the exception of the printed names, my daughter was able to put these together in no time at all!
Although the envelopes are pretty simple, I am sure they will be a hit with her friends.
On that note, local friends, if you ever wish to use the 'beast', you are more than welcome. I have quite a few dies and may have just what you are looking for to pretty up a project. Simply call me or send me an email and you can then help me keep the dust off the 'beast'!
Hope you all had a fabulous weekend and thanks for stopping by!
