New Beginnings

Welcome to my new blog!

First and foremost I wish to thank the wonderful and absolutely fabulous Kristine for creating this blog and for her patience.

It's been a busy few months and will continue to be for a little while. For those who know me from The Paper Passion, you know that I closed the store and was fortunate to be able to pass over the reins to the lovely and extremely creative Lacintha. I am so looking forward to seeing The Paper Passion up and running again!

Since then, I have been catching up around here and believe it or not, I have actually finished a mini album between painting and restoring furniture.

For the last 2 years, our living room or front room, was used to store scrapbooking goodies from the store. Previous to having the store, this room sat vacant for 2 years. So in reality, since we have lived in this house, the living room was the 'catch all' room to store what we couldn't figure out what to do with.

Well, within a few weeks, I was finally able to create a living room, a real living room and I am so very happy with the way it turned out.

With the exception of the floral chairs and area rug, we had all the pieces kicking around the house. It was just a matter of putting it all together and re-painting furniture.

I'll have a few more 'projects' to share in the next few weeks, including some new aprons and of course, more 're-furbished' furniture and a mini album.
